Crown Resorts Club La Riviera

We took two tours during our stay and enjoyed both. The area is beautiful, and the staff were very helpful. Our two-bedroom apartment suited four adults just fine, and the facilities were excellent.

The grounds are beautiful and the location puts lots of places within easy reach. Most of the staff were nice, though a few were very rude. The apartments could do with some upgrades, but it didn’t spoil our holiday. Our two-bedroom place fit four adults comfortably.

Reception at delta mar understood our concerns straight away. Within an hour, a maintenance worker had put a chain and padlock on the garden gate, then added a temporary fix to the front door. Both were simple, inexpensive and effective, and removable when we leave. It took him about ten minutes. We can now sleep knowing our son can’t get out. We’re still away, so perhaps it’s early to review, but the service has been fantastic. Our 12-year-old has autism and a genetic mutation, and has no awareness of danger. The front door has two bolts for fire safety, but the handle still lets it open from inside. We’re on the ground floor, and the balcony gate to the garden doesn’t lock either. He could get out through either door in seconds, possibly reaching the pool or going anywhere. We can watch him during the day, though stopping him often leads to meltdowns. He’s nonverbal, so communicating during those moments can be almost impossible. We were especially worried about the night, or early morning when he wakes, because he could open the front door before we knew. The sliding grilles at the back are manageable. I understand the fire rules, but being able to open the door felt more dangerous for his health and safety.

The apartment was amazing, and the pool bar has great prices. This is our hidden gem. There aren’t many facilities for kids, which helps keep it quiet.
