Miraflores Resort

We loved the view from our window at the top of the hill, and the staff were very friendly. There are supermarkets within walking distance, plus bus stops for trips to Fueringola. It’s a great place if you don’t mind walking. I’ll rent a vehicle next time.

Our one-bedroom unit faces west-southwest over the sea, so we get afternoon sun until dusk and a very nice view. It’s clean, well equipped, and laid out with a sunken living room and a fairly large balcony. The picture is of the beach at the bottom of our road. The resort itself is very large and nice, with a pool for each condo block, and it’s close to the seafront boardwalk and beach.

I’ve owned a timeshare here for many years and have watched the resort change. The reception area is a real shame now: it used to be lively, with a great restaurant, but that’s all closed and the place looks pretty derelict. I still love the resort. It’s peaceful and clean, the staff are always very helpful, and the pool area is kept immaculate. The poolside food is good quality and well priced, unlike at some resorts.

This is no-frills accommodation, and the steep walks make it unsuitable if you have trouble walking. The beach is a long, steep walk away, though the boardwalk is wonderful and goes a long way, so it’s superb for walkers. Our clean one-bedroom apartment is at the top of a steep hill, with on-road parking available. It has an open-plan living room and kitchen, a full cooker, microwave and basic equipment, plus a table and chairs and a patio onto the garden. WiFi is provided. Cleaning, fresh towels and a bed change happen once, midweek. There’s no entertainment, and reception is a long way from the apartment. Each block shares a pool, with a good little cafe beside it. The water is cold, and the toilets are good.
