La Hospederia Del Silencio

Pretty cool.

The breakfasts were incredible, and the kitchen staff deserve more than a 10. This was my second stay, and it’s still such a clean, peaceful place to switch off. I’m really grateful for the lovely service at every meal, too. Last night, they did me a huge favor at dinner and offered me warmed zucchini soup and a French omelet. People like that aren’t easy to find in every accommodation. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Highly, highly recommended.

I’m Francisco, and I can’t understand why pets aren’t allowed at an open-air place like this. Lots of people travel with their pets all year, not only in summer, so banning them from countryside cabins in a rural setting feels completely incongruous. We couldn’t stay, so I can’t comment on the rooms or services. A total disappointment, and I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

We went in August 2025 for a course with Josep Soler, hoping the Hospedería del Silencio would give us a break from the noise of Madrid. Instead, our little house was really noisy. The air conditioning made a racket but didn’t cool the room, and when we switched ours off, we could still hear the neighbors’ unit. People in the terraced houses had the same issue. There was also a local festival in a nearby town while we were there, which made the whole stay really stressful for me. I told reception, but they couldn’t offer a solution. The facilities were good, the staff friendly, and the food tasty, but I’d never go back. It felt more like the Hospedería del Noido.
