Everything seemed lovely and perfect at first, which is why I gave two stars. Then we tried to sleep. The mattress sinks badly in the middle, leaving a hole you can’t get comfortable in. It’s so worn down that it ought to be thrown out. I’ve never had a mattress like that in any accommodation. The photo doesn’t make the problem easy to see, sadly.

We were the only guests during our one night there over the Christmas break, and the rooms for rent fill the entire ground floor. It seemed the whole floor, including our room, hadn’t been heated for a long time. With 0°C outside, it was nearly as cold indoors. The floors and beds felt frozen, and showering was out of the question because the bathroom was so cold. The fan heater is fixed to the ceiling. Even with it set to 28°C all night, it only warmed the ceiling, and the room was still unbearably cold in the morning. We slept dressed, in hats and gloves, and my husband still caught a very bad cold. Thank goodness we only stayed one night. Avoid this place in winter.

What they’re selling isn’t what it seems. It’s 15 km from Ronda, not in Ronda. There’s no toilet, the toilet paper isn’t collected, and there’s no nearby parking.

Mari was so attentive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed, and the pool is fantastic. It’s a great place for families. We’re delighted with the accommodation and its owner. If we’re back in Los Prados de Ronda, we’ll definitely stay here again. Best regards.

There’s not much nearby, but the price makes the stay worthwhile. The owner is very friendly, and there’s free parking close by. It’s about 10 minutes from Ronda and 10 from Setenil.
