Apartamentos La Ermita

Our host was helpful with the key, which was tricky to turn in the door, and later helped us arrange a courier for something we’d left behind. The bright, clean apartment was on the second floor, and the sofa bed had already been made up, which was thoughtful. It’s a quiet street, about five minutes from the bridge lookout and ten from the bus station. We stayed one night.

AVOID!! I asked them to give the city hall my vehicle’s license plate so I wouldn’t be fined for driving into the city center, but they never did, and I got a fine. When we arrived, cleaning supplies were sitting in the middle of the room.

The apartment was clean and well appointed, and being in central Ronda made visiting the city easy. Watch out for parking, since many of the streets are pedestrian-only. Recommended.

The central location is the one real plus. Our living room had been turned into a bedroom, but it was unfit to sleep in: there were no blinds, and it was the only room with air conditioning. Street sounds came through, especially the front door banging shut. There was no hairdryer, and just one hand towel for the four of us. There’s plenty that could be improved.
