The homemade tapas were fantastic, and they handled different dietary needs too. The wine was delicious, and the tour and tasting were interesting, welcoming, and friendly. I’d go every day if I could!

The patio tasting at the end was a treat, with tasty wine, bread, tapas, and a lovely view. The place itself is unbelievably beautiful. We took the tour in English as well as Spanish, and our guide knew a lot and was happy to answer questions.

We finished with four excellent wines and tapas after Genma took us through the vineyards. Her knowledge was impressive and really engaging. A lovely way to begin a Tuesday in Ronda at Bodega Dona Felisa. If you’re in the Ronda area, I’d absolutely recommend giving it a try.

We expected the pairing to include more wine than the tasting, given the price, but both groups received four pours. There also wasn’t any conversation about how the food matched the wines. The tasting group got tapas, while our pairing group was served a large amount of family-style food. It came out in a rush, handled by one person for 22 guests, and the oily stews all tasted much the same. Dessert was a few broken cookies and chocolates for our table to share. The tour was explained nicely, though it started about half an hour late, and all 22 of us did it together. There were 11 people in each group. I wish we’d just done the tasting and enjoyed a relaxed lunch in Ronda instead.
