The staff were really nice, even though they seemed rushed. We planned to stay one night, then ended up coming back for two more. Our first room was spacious and the AC worked perfectly. In the second room it was weak, and the room had a bit of a smell. There’s a formal dining room, an outdoor dining area, and seating in the bar, plus an outdoor pool and tennis courts. Still a good experience.

The bar had a lovely atmosphere, and the food was amazing. We only stayed one night, but the staff were very helpful and the room was lovely. It’s just outside Ronda, which worked well for us. If you’d rather avoid the bustle of town, this hotel is worth a try.

The bed was comfortable, but the room itself wasn’t suitable for an adult. The ceiling sloped so sharply that I couldn’t stand up in half the room, and even in the bathroom I had to be careful getting up from the toilet. The air conditioning didn’t work until I pulled out a folded piece of paper that had been deliberately put there. After that, I couldn’t switch it off unless I put the paper back.

The swimming pool was lovely, but I wouldn’t recommend the stay, especially for the value. My room had a slanted ceiling, so I could only use one side of the bed without hitting my head. In most of the room, and by the toilet and sink, I had to watch where I stood. I was also given just one towel, with a hole in it and frayed edges.

Maria II and Andrea looked after us so well, they were both great hosts. The rooms are large and comfortable, cleaned every day, and the Wifi was great. There isn’t much soundproofing, so they can get a little noisy. The traditional food at the bar and restaurant was great, and the value was extremely good. A bit of a hidden gem just outside Ronda.
