The views from the house and gardens are amazing, and it’s easy to get to the best of Ronda from here. Gordon and Ali made great hosts, with lots of knowledge about the area and its history. One lovely surprise was chatting over breakfast with people from three other countries. A wonderful place to stay while travelling.

The guesthouse is peaceful and quiet, a lovely place to unwind after exploring, and just a short walk from the main attractions. Our room was clean and cozy, the bedding was comfortable, and the little touches made it feel like home. The host was so welcoming and clearly wanted us to have a good stay. He kept in touch to see if we needed anything else, and shared helpful information about Ronda, including restaurant suggestions and places to see. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh local ingredients and a stunning view. In fact, the view across Ronda was probably the best part of the guesthouse, and made our stay unforgettable. We’d gladly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Ali suggested a parking spot about eight minutes away, though we had to circle the plaza a few times before finding a space. Watch out, they’re very strict. Ronda itself was stunning, and the restaurant under the bridge on the new town side had great food at reasonable prices. We also took a great, informative tour at Bodega Gonzalo Beltran Finca la Nogalera, about a five-minute drive away. It was €30 per person, with tastings and tapas. Casa del Rey Moro was just a three-minute walk and well worth visiting. The guest house is beautiful. Breakfast in the garden beside the plunge pool was sublime, and having coffee at the lookout spot on the wall was amazing, with birds, flowers, and a lovely view. Our room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, and was quiet except for the occasional peacock call from the nearby palace. We had an amazing two-night stay. Ali and Gordon were lovely and full of useful tips. Ali is a tourist guide, too. We loved the tip about catching sunset over the bullring from the cocktail bar at Hotel Catalonia Ronda. The whole stay was really nice.

The balcony looked over a stunning valley, and the sunrise was beautiful. Ali and Gordon were wonderful hosts, giving us all the information we needed to explore Ronda and make the most of our visit. You can see how much care and attention has gone into making this guest house a lovely place to stay.
