The pool area had a great seating space, and it felt safe for young children with lifeguards there. The evening entertainment worked for all ages, and the hotel was fully decorated for Halloween on our last night. The tunnel was brilliantly put together. At 71, I found it extremely scary 😂, but it was lots of fun. We had a wonderful family holiday and are grateful to everyone for making it such a good one. Our rooms, 350, 352, and 605, were spotless, with plenty of fresh towels each day. The hotel and dining room were just as clean, and the staff were amazing and always ready to help. There was a great choice at every meal, and the food was really good. Thank you from the Fellows and Owen families.

The beach is a nice one, shingle rather than sand, cleaned every day, and there’s a private gate to it from the hotel. About a 20 minute walk away, there’s a lovely shopping centre and a very good aquarium. We came for a week in October 25, with 11 family members, to celebrate a birthday. The rooms were clean and spacious, with nice views. Staff were polite, helpful, and seemed to work very hard. The restaurant was clean too, with a good food selection, including some dishes cooked while you waited. We could always find something we liked, though the choices got a bit repetitive, especially beyond fish or pork. Puddings were mostly blancmange type desserts or ice cream. The pools and slides were clean. We saw staff scrubbing the patio early on more than one morning. Restaurant staff worked hard and were helpful. I’d recommend the hotel and would be happy to come back myself.

The Halloween scary hallway was brilliant, and the staff put a lot into it. The entertainment team were amazing, even when some adults and kids were rude to them. I said something myself, and I don’t know how the team stayed so calm. One lifeguard also helped my daughter when she lost her footing at the top of the slide and fell onto her back. She was bruised, but that was all. Thank you to you all, see you next year. We’re booking to return next year. The staff were fantastic, and we want to come back to see them. The entertainment and bar teams were especially good. Food was the main drawback: it was the same every day, with no real kids’ section, so our children ate pasta or chips for two weeks. The desserts were amazing, and breakfast was my favourite, though I missed mushrooms. The baby pool floor had sharp bits coming up and needed painting, so it wasn’t ideal for babies and toddlers. They also ran out of milkshakes, Red Bull, and ice cream. I understand it was near the end of the season, and know they do a little refurbishment each year.

Our kids spent hours on the water slides, and the pool areas stayed really clean, with staff tidying throughout the day. The rooms were a good size. The air conditioning didn’t make the room freezing, but it kept us comfortable. Bar staff were awesome and served us with a smile. The food was amazing, with different dishes each day, clearly labeled in Spanish and English. Kids were well catered for, with fresh fruit, pizza, and other child-friendly options available throughout the day. The hotel seems especially popular with Spanish guests, but everyone was friendly and welcoming, so that didn’t put us off. Most entertainment was in Spanish, though the team made an effort to involve English-speaking guests once they realized we were there. Evening entertainment usually started around 9 pm, which is normal Spanish timing but may feel late for young children. We had a truly amazing holiday at this hotel, a hidden gem a little off the usual British tourist trail, and would highly recommend it.
