Breakfast was brilliant, with lots to choose from and really nice omelettes. We had dinner there once too, and found plenty of tasty options. The spa was fairly cheap and well equipped. Parking was good and inexpensive, though there was plenty of roadside parking when we visited off season. It's a great spot on the beachfront, a short walk from bars and restaurants, with a bus stop about two minutes away. The hotel is great, but the rooms are a little small and narrow. Some drawers on the side of the wardrobe would help with clothes, instead of having to live out of a suitcase. There was plenty of room around the pool, though the water was colder than the sea!

The pool and sun-lounger area were fantastic, with no problems at all, though be ready for very cold water. The spa facilities were great too, and the woman who worked there most days was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Bar staff were generous with drinks, so much that we actually asked for less alcohol. Our room was stunning, with a beautiful view and a very comfortable bed. The TV didn't work properly, but that didn't bother us since we weren't there to watch it. The hotel was extremely clean overall. The bathrooms by the lifts needed more attention, though: on several visits the bins were overflowing and the toilets weren't always clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and the cleaners did a fantastic job every day. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the preparations for the upcoming Halloween theme added a fun, festive touch without going overboard. The food was good, if a little repetitive at times, so despite being all-inclusive we ate out a few times. One chef deserves particular credit for his hard work, cheerful attitude, and constant big smile, which made dinner more enjoyable. We absolutely loved staying at the Best Sabinal and would recommend it. We're already looking forward to coming back for another relaxing holiday.

The all-inclusive price was great value, especially if you enjoy a drink and good food. We loved the variety at meals, with new additions each night, and the food was fantastic. Rooms were very clean and kept to a high standard. Most staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and hardworking, especially Rocio and Diana in the dining hall. One person at the bar did seem to serve Spanish guests first, but that didn't spoil the overall experience. The spa was brilliant, even though one side of a jacuzzi didn't work and the steam room was out of order. These things happen. Entertainment was almost all in Spanish, which is fine, we're in Spain after all. I'd definitely recommend a stay.

The animation team was amazing and got everyone involved with games. When non-Spanish speakers joined in, they translated into English. There were plenty of sunbeds for everyone, and the spa was brilliant too. The staff, from reception to the cleaning crew, were friendly and approachable. Most spoke English, and those who didn't did their best to understand us. They worked hard and always seemed to have a smile. There was lots of choice in the food and drinks. The hotel's right on the beach, with tourist shops, little bars, and restaurants all around. You can rent a bike just outside if you'd rather ride than walk. We had a great, relaxing week at the Best Sabinal. I was already thinking about booking again for next year, and I'd highly recommend it.

For £550pp, we got seven all-inclusive nights with flights, luggage, and transfers. At that price it did the job: a week in the sunshine. The all-inclusive drinks had a good selection, and there were plenty of beds around the pool. Still, this definitely isn't a four-star hotel. It needs TLC throughout, and the daytime and nighttime entertainment was quite poor, with planned activities not starting on time. Would I go again for £550pp? Yes. Would I pay more than that? No.
