This was our fourth stay, and we booked direct again for the gold all-in package. We used to love the Spanish food, especially the noon tapas and the themed lunch restaurants. This time those let us down. We've been here eight days and saw sardines just once, whereas last year I think they were out every couple of days. Most of the other choices were fried and tasteless. The buffet meat and fish were poor quality and bland too. We're going to try the themed restaurant for dinner and hope it's better. Otherwise, we'll have to eat out. The drinks are very good, and all the staff are friendly. It's a top hotel for children, but the noise has been constant, day and night. We chose this time because schools are normally in session and hoped the hotel would be calmer. Instead, more babies and children of every age kept arriving, yelling and crying. The lazy river seems to attract new guests, which is good for the hotel and for anyone who doesn't mind the noise. The entertainment is nice if you enjoy it, but why does it have to be so loud? Last year there was usually a quiet area around the pool, but that's gone, too, with the animation music blaring. We're here until Tuesday and hope to finish the holiday in a good mood, but sadly I don't think we'll return. Children may find it paradise. This is just our personal view, since what makes a good holiday is different for everyone.

We waited 40 minutes just to get into breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pool smelled of chemicals, and dirty dishes were left around with no clean cutlery available. The waves were like pigs, and the wooden pier had nails sticking out. My daughter has bites all over her body, like puppy bites. Never again!

We had a really lovely stay with our two children, aged 7 and 2, so don't let the reviews put you off. We upgraded to a suite after reading comments about the rooms, and it was spacious, with two balconies. For us, it was worth the extra money. The hotel is super clean, and the pool area is lovely, with a great little kids' pool and slides for older children. There are loads of sunbeds, and you can usually find one at any time, though getting one by the pool means an early start, like most places. It's right on the beach. The shore is more shingle than sand, but soft underfoot, and we had fun looking for shells. We only had the basic all-inclusive plan, but the daytime choices were great for the kids: Magnum and Twister ice creams, ice lollies, crisps, slushies, milkshakes, plus burgers and hot dogs by the pool. There's not much to do locally, but for sun, beach, and pool time, it was great.

The pool is massive, but little else worked for us. The kids' entertainment was Spider-Man from Temu dancing for about 20 minutes at 9 p.m., followed by what felt like a morgue full of old people dancing. There's nothing around the area, and the rooms are tiny, with door handles falling off. The food was very basic. We weren't told that restaurant bookings were required, then got told to leave, even after a staff member had taken our drinks order. They wouldn't even let us have the drinks. Construction work was going on by the pool, with power drills going full blast at 3:30 p.m. while people were trying to relax. Never again. Horrendous, and two stars at most.
