We’d told them when we’d arrive, but still had to call for a key and wait more than 20 minutes. The mattresses were awful, old and springy, and you could feel them digging into your body. The kitchen utensils weren’t clean, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and dust bunnies were rolling across the floor. Some closets were locked, leaving us short on space for our clothes. The bedroom blind wouldn’t come down, so once the sun came up, we couldn’t sleep. When we brought it up, they said they already knew and would have to fix it. There weren’t even trash bags or toilet paper. The complex is a 30-minute walk from town, surrounded by empty lots and supermarkets. I don’t recommend it.

The location was a real plus, with three lovely beaches nearby, clear, clean water, and plenty of parking without the crowds. The complex itself is beautiful too, and the pool is gorgeous and great for families with kids. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen, including a washer, dishwasher, oven, and microwave, but it got uncomfortably hot during the heat wave. There’s no air conditioning, just two small fans, and without mosquito screens on the windows, opening them meant getting bitten. The mattresses also sag and aren’t very comfortable.
