There’s a supermarket just across the road for essentials, and a couple of lovely places to eat on the beach with some great cocktails. The swimming is superb, but watch the flags closely. It gets really busy from late June to early September, so arrive early to claim a spot. Parking is limited, and you can hire sun loungers and umbrellas. We had a fabulous day watching the boats and yachts bob along. There’s a real mix of ages, but people are respectful, with no booming music or rowdy behavior.

It’s very clean and works well for families, both young and old. There’s a small supermarket nearby for essentials, plus a couple of places to get lunch or dinner and a special cocktail. The beach is lovely for swimming, though the current can get strong, so pay attention to the warning flags. Sun loungers and umbrellas cost around 6-8 euros each per day. It gets very busy in July and August, and parking can be difficult.
