The gardens and flowerbeds are kept beautifully, and the sunsets are something else, different and breathtaking each day. They’re great to photograph or film. There’s a walking and running route beside the buildings and canals, plus a playground, a small football field, basketball court, and ping-pong table. The residential complex has a large pool, jacuzzi, and spectacular views. It sits across the Rec Madral canal from the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park. Highly recommended.

The apartment has a superb modern feel and views over the nature park, pool, canal, and mountains. It works for four people, two adults and two children. Both TVs only get Spanish channels. One workaround we found was a small Wi-Fi tablet with HDMI, bought at Carrefour for €94 and plugged into the TV. With Zattoo, that gave us over 80 German channels in HD.

I spent a very pleasant year living there. These are apartments for rent or purchase, not a hotel.

We’d happily come back in summer for the beach and pool. The apartment is spacious, modern, and beautifully appointed, with a terrace looking out over the port.
