The outdoor jacuzzi was a real highlight, especially after dark, with the city lights, bay, and coastline spread out below. The view is breathtaking. Karen also let us use the outdoor gas grill, even though she’s vegetarian, and the steaks we cooked on our first night came out amazing. We ordered the vegetarian breakfast knowing that’s what it was, and loved how fresh and beautifully presented it was. We stayed two nights and booked two of the three apartments. Each one has its own look and feel, and the whole house shows so much care in the details. The rooms had everything we needed and more, including a proper hair towel and a complete set of amenities. Most of the products seemed natural and eco-friendly, and the natural oil diffusers gave the house a calm, lovely scent. We travel at least once a month for work and pleasure, and on personal trips we look for places with real character, where the hosts have clearly put thought into the atmosphere. This is exactly that kind of place, and a wonderful way to spend our time. The house, and especially Karen, gets a 10/10 from us. We’ll come back whenever we can and recommend it to everyone we know.
