L'Encantarella

Almadrava was our favorite of the two nearby beaches, just about a three minute walk away. It's sandy, tucked away and peaceful, and seemed lovely for all ages. Adriá even supplied beach towels. After a swim, we liked having Santallucia nearby for a drink or a bite, with those amazing views while you eat. The house itself is gorgeous, comfortable and spacious, with thoughtful furnishings and everything we needed. It was beautifully kept, and the terrace was a great place to sit and watch the sea and the changing light. The sunsets were especially lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped, and its three sided views made breakfast memorable. Adriá showed us around and explained how things worked, and was responsible and professional throughout. It felt maintained to a really high standard, so booking felt easy. We were a family group and all had a fantastic time. It was one of our best holidays, and probably the best Airbnb we've stayed in. In town, we enjoyed L’Avenida, Falconera and Pizzeria Marechiaro Rambla, where meals were around EUR20 per person. Taxi en Roses was reliable with only about 10 minutes' notice. Figueres and the Dalí Theatre-Museum were a highlight for everyone. We hope to come back soon.

Adria was kind and easy to communicate with, and the sunny dining room with all the windows open was my favorite spot. We were seven, four adults and three kids, and had lots of room to feel at home. The ocean views were breathtaking, and it was only a short 5-10 minute walk to two beaches. Excellent host.

The house is an easy walk from beaches, restaurants and shops, and Roses Promenade is only a couple of minutes away by car if you want more choices. It's a great spot, with incredible views from every room. The place is spacious enough for a big family or a few friends, and stayed cool during the day, though air conditioning is available if needed. Our host was welcoming and really helpful. I know where I'll stay on my next visit to Roses.

The beach was the kids' best playground, and the view from the beautiful house was magical. Adria was a great host. We had such a lovely time with the family and made wonderful memories here.
