We found the apartment clean, with a well-stocked kitchen and all the equipment we needed. There's air conditioning in the main living area and kitchen. The internet was fine for browsing, but too weak for a Fire Stick or Netflix. It's a great place to stay, close to the beach, local bars and restaurants.
It was really hot, there was no cooler, and the internet was slow. I only realized there was no toilet paper when I was already on the toilet.
The apartment itself is amazing, and Didier Casanova welcomed us and our friends with open arms. It's such a shame the concierge made the vacation so unpleasant that all we wanted was to leave as soon as possible, despite the beautiful location. We felt watched and very uncomfortable whenever we ran into him. He's disrespectful, disdainful and even aggressive with occupants, acting like a boor and a prison guard. He seemed to be on the lookout even when we least expected it, including at 6:30 a.m. while we were walking our four-legged friends. The common areas were dirty and not maintained as he claims, with papers, cigarette butts and underwear in the parking lot. The concierge needs to be swept out, and the sooner the better. It's a real struggle to stay polite and decent around him.
There weren't even sheets or anything provided. The place needs a major renovation and wasn't very clean. The mattress covers, pillows and blankets were disgusting.
Mr. Casanova received us very warmly when we rented the apartment this week, and he was very helpful. But the person acting as concierge is an odious bear of a character. He spends his time spying on and harassing everyone instead of cleaning the very dirty hallways. He should be fired immediately. It makes you not want to return, so don't go there.
