What really made this stay worthwhile was the sea view. I’d asked for one and was delighted with the room. It was clean and furnished as expected for the price, with just the basics and no minibar, which suited me fine. The rooms could use better soundproofing, though. We could nearly make out what other guests were saying, and I couldn’t understand why there wasn’t a toilet brush. I like to keep the room reasonably tidy myself. The location made getting to the beach incredibly easy, just a minute away. There’s another beach nearby with lifeguards and useful rentals. Restaurants are about a two-minute walk behind the hotel, and a long street nearby has shops, souvenir stalls, and two grocery stores. Parking needs to be booked ahead and costs extra per day. It’s covered and secure, around a five-minute walk away, so I never worried about leaving my car there. The staff were polite and friendly throughout, from reception and the night manager to the cleaners. For the price, it’s great value, and the view more than made up for my small complaints. I’d recommend it.

We only stayed one night in early May, during the quiet season. The room was clean and pleasant, with a balcony overlooking the bay. The low-season rate was very good.

We expected two twin beds, but got one bed that felt too small for two people. When we asked to switch, the hotel said it was too late and they were full. The air conditioning also couldn’t cool the room on a warm night. The parking listing was misleading. Parking was available in a public lot for €16 a night, and the hotel’s own option cost even more. With that definition, nearly any hotel could claim to have parking, since there’s usually somewhere nearby to leave a car. They should explain this more clearly. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Breakfast was plentiful, though the quality wasn’t very good. The hotel itself was okay, but the fittings felt a bit worn and noise carried between rooms.

We like this slightly old-fashioned sort of hotel. The room was roomy, the beds suited us, and the air conditioning was quiet. If you want less noise, ask for a room facing the pedestrian street rather than the sea. The big beach is just a few steps away, with plenty going on all around. Breakfast was about average for a three-star place, but the dining room was bright and lovely. One tip, if you tend to get hot at night, pull the plastic cover off the mattress.
