I booked at the last minute and came across this lovely place in Rota. The accommodation was modern and immaculate, and the staff were friendly. Then Spain had a blackout the next day. The owner was incredibly kind about our situation and let us stay an extra night free of charge.

Ramon made such a difference to our short stay in Rota. There’s no Uber or Bolt access for getting around, but he helped us call and arrange taxis for all our activities. The unit at 7Escalones Apartamentos was clean and lovely, with a cozy bedroom where I slept well, a modern bathroom, and air conditioning that worked well. It’s an easy walk to the church, Castillo de Luna, restaurants, and the beach. I’d stay here again if I return to Rota, Spain, and highly recommend it.

Right in the old town and just a minute from the beach, this is a beautiful hotel with tasteful decor, marble staircases, and all the modern conveniences. Fantastic host! Jude Ireland

I reported all of this to Jose Ramon, but nothing was done. The Wi-Fi stayed broken for four days, and he didn’t respond when I told him about the ants in the bedroom, bed, and sofa. The bed was so infested that I had to change rooms. There was dirty laundry too, which I didn’t even mention because I didn’t want to get more upset. On the first morning, three painters were at the bedroom windows, one per window, yelling and singing from 9 am. The paint smell got into the rooms and we couldn’t sleep. They wanted to come inside and paint, but Juanramon never showed up. I’m adding to my earlier comment. I can’t attach screenshots from my phone, but the WhatsApp conversation has the message I sent you about the builders, the ants, and Wi-Fi. I’d already reported the issue, and you just moved on.
