Park Sedo Aparthotel

The Wi-Fi was very poor and breakfast was poor enough, too. The manager was nice and tried to help, and some of the reception staff were lovely.

The rooms were comfortable, though a bit old, and the walls didn't block sound very well. We were lucky that the other guests were quiet while we were there. Internet could be slow at times, and the pool was a bit dirty. The brunette woman at reception welcomed us so warmly and spoke perfect English, which is rare in Spain, so we were really happy about that. Breakfast was good and at 10€ per person it was good value, though the machine juices weren't very tasty. I'd rate it 4/5.

Staff were all lovely and friendly, and everything was clean and tidy. The room was big, though there were a few issues: the TV's international channels didn't include any English ones, the shower tray overflowed, maybe because the drain was blocked, and the bathroom tap ran hot regardless of the setting. Oddly, the on-site restaurant doesn't open on weekends. It's a perfect hotel for visiting Barcelona. The Rubi centre station is an easy walk away, with trains to Placa Catalunya in central Barcelona. The best part was free underground parking, so we left the car there and took the train. Definitely worth a try.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed about 10 days and got to know almost everyone at reception and among the cleaners. We liked the room, especially the full kitchen and small garden, and my kids enjoyed the time there. If you're driving, book this hotel. The neighborhood is very quiet.
