Apartamento Las Medulas

The nature around the place was what we came for, and we really enjoyed it. We stayed in room number 1, which has a good view. The GPS sent us to the wrong spot, but a phone call got us the right directions. The road to the hostel is paved the whole way, so there's no need to take the dirt road GPS suggested. We liked our stay, though I'm giving it 4 stars because there's room to improve. It's not the newest or cleanest place, but it has what you need for a comfortable stay.

The weekend in mid-July was a terrible experience. The house was empty, and I can see why. The photos and description don't reflect reality, though I have to congratulate the photographer. The listing says "mountain views," but it's really just mountain-facing, and all I could see was a walnut tree. The garden looks nice but is neglected, and the benches feel unsafe to sit on. There's only room for one car to park, and even that is awkward. Getting there is difficult and the location isn't good. Management and the way problems were handled were abysmal.

The apartment has a lovely garden with lots of tables and chairs, just right for sitting and unwinding. We loved our stay, especially the spectacular views of the mountains and the Sil River. It's in a very quiet area, with tasteful decor and really spacious rooms. There's also a small kitchen stocked with the utensils needed to cook. I'd say it's ideal for a couple.

Awful experience. There was dust everywhere, and the apartment was dirty. The beds hadn't been made, and the towels were wet and already used. Cleaning was practically nonexistent. Staff didn't do anything about it. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.
