The setting is great and we got a lovely welcome, but the meal took 90 minutes even though it was very basic. The waiter seemed quite clearly drunk. So disappointing. The whole setup needs improving, and I wouldn't eat here.

The owner looked after us so well and welcomed us warmly. This place feels magical, with mountains and nature all around and such peaceful air in Ruesga. The hotel is fantastic. We could bring our dog and were free to enjoy the hotel and grounds with them, which was wonderful. A 10 out of 10, I recommend it 100%!

The porch was the best part of the house, and the breakfast omelet and cheesecake were superb. We also enjoyed delicious dinners. Jon was very friendly, and the rest of the staff were acceptable. The location is magnificent and the place has lots of potential, but it needs work. For the price, the quality doesn't measure up. Maintenance and updating are noticeably lacking, especially the mattresses and bathrooms, and there's no soundproofing. In summer the insects become unbearable, so solutions to keep them out are needed, even though we know it's the countryside.

The beautiful surroundings and large garden made for a lovely, cozy stay, and the dogs were very comfortable there. Service was excellent and the community was great. Being able to bring our dogs was a big plus. A relaxing getaway for couples with a pet, 100% recommended. We'll definitely return.
