For New Year's Eve, we wanted somewhere peaceful, and we found it. The hosts were wonderful and really attentive. The house was very well equipped, with a pellet stove in the living room and radiators and air conditioning through the rest of the house. The location couldn't be better, with shops nearby, a variety of restaurants, and the Ruidera Lakes natural haven right at the entrance. Everyone should see it. We had a perfect experience.

The house itself is lovely and has what you need for a nice weekend. The welcome, though, was really disappointing. The owner seemed annoyed that we'd booked through Booking.com instead of a rural rental site we'd never heard of. She turned up at 11:57 to check we were leaving, so our checkout was cut short by three minutes. My girlfriend was in the bathroom; when she came out and said, “See you later!”, the owner didn't answer. It felt sad to leave after being treated so coldly and rudely. We know not to return. The house could still suit people who don't mind that kind of distant, discourteous treatment.

We found it hard to leave because the place was so comfortable. It's roomy, cozy, spotless, and kept in great shape, with everything supplied. The double terrace is a plus, and it stays cool in summer. It can sleep 6-7 people, and the owner is very friendly.

Engracia was wonderful, and the village is quiet while still being close to bars, shops, and restaurants. We spent a weekend here as a couple with our two children. The house felt almost new, was very clean, and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.
