We spent many relaxed evenings on the terrace, enjoying the quiet and the lovely sky. Casa Louisa is a comfortable, well-equipped home in Rute, right in the beautiful Subbetica region, which felt like the “real” Spain to us. It’s also well placed for outdoor activities and for visiting Cordoba, Granada, and Sevilla. We’d happily stay again.

The owner was great to communicate with and gave us useful tips on places to eat, drink, and visit in Rute. The house was clean, spacious, and a good size for two, with most of what we needed. We especially liked the rear terrace for sunny days and late evening relaxing, with good views. You can get around town on foot from here, but it’s very hilly, so be ready for that. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND
