Hotel Ibersol Siurell

The location is handy, in a quiet area near the beach, with a bus stop close by, a Carrefour around the corner and a little street of bars and tourist shops. There are more options along the beach promenade a bit farther away. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and check-in went smoothly. The hotel makes a stylish first impression from outside and in the clean lobby. Our room had a spacious layout, but the bathroom was dated, the shower had some mold and the materials generally felt old. The spa was expensive and mostly offered massages and an indoor pool. The gym wasn't great. The all-inclusive bar service was sufficient, with sangria, wine, soft drinks and beer included; cocktails cost extra at reduced prices. Smoking was still allowed, which we didn't like. Breakfast tasted good, and the buffet was okay, though not well seasoned and short on vegetarian options. I appreciated that staff listened to suggestions and made extra vegetarian dishes for me on the following days. Despite a few things needing improvement, I'd recommend the hotel for its friendly feel and helpful staff.

The food was a highlight, fresh and full of flavor, and it seemed to be made with care. Staff were kind, professional and ready to help with whatever we needed, from check-in through to check-out. Their warmth made our stay memorable. We had a really enjoyable time and would gladly return. I'd recommend it to others.

The pool bar staff and the two breakfast chefs were the only bright spots for me. They were friendly and genuinely approachable. The rest of my 10-day stay fell well short of expectations and felt cold from the start. At breakfast, none of the waitresses greeted me or even answered when I said “hola.” It's a small thing, but it made a big difference. My room was outdated and nowhere near “fancy,” so it didn't feel worth what I paid. Cigarette smoke was a constant problem, drifting from other balconies and getting into my room. It really took away from the comfort of the holiday. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially at that price.

The food was terrible, with little variety, and I struggled to find anything that wasn't overcooked or undercooked. I ended up eating out a lot. If you only have breakfast, though, I'd definitely recommend staying here. The room was beautiful with a great view, and the location was great too. The pool area was alright, with lots of sunbeds but not many parasols. The adult pool was great, while the indoor pool was very expensive. The elevator was small and seemed a bit unreliable.
