The cleaning lady, Toñita, was friendly, helpful, and efficient, and kept everything spotless. The house is large and comfortable, with modern decor and all the utensils and amenities you need. It’s set in a peaceful area with nothing else around. Upstairs there’s a bedroom with its own bathroom. Outside, there are swings, a pool, and a fully equipped barbecue area with a counter and sink, plus a gazebo. The one downside when I visited in August was the mosquitoes at night. They were relentless, so eating dinner in the gazebo wasn’t possible.

Although the place is secluded, it was easy to find with GPS and still close to amenities. We did have trouble with flies and ants, though. The week also felt overpriced, especially since we had to pay for energy use at the end. In our case it came to over €30.

The place was very clean, and the caretaker was friendly and right there to help as soon as a problem came up.
