Villa Canya Vera (IAN ROD)

This has ruined our holiday. We’ve contacted James Villas again and again and got little to no response. The pool isn’t cleaned or maintained, so we’re constantly swimming through bugs, and we’ve had to ask just to get basic things like the pool lights working. There’s no welcome pack or local information on arrival, and no pool towels. The air conditioning is faulty and inconsistent. Worst of all for a self-catering place, the induction hob only works sometimes and trips all the electrics. The facilities are basic: not one mirror in any bedroom, and only three working lamps across four bedrooms. There are no waste or recycling facilities either. Hands down the worst villa we’ve ever stayed in. I’d urge people to avoid it.
