Finca Victoria Hotel & Spa

The hotel was very flexible about transport, taking us to Begur town square and back several times. There was also a lovely yoga class one morning. We’d definitely return. For our honeymoon, the quick walk to the beach and the pool, which was perfect for a lazy day, were great. We did have a couple of snags: we couldn’t find the beach stand for chairs and umbrellas, and the restaurant had no availability, with no tables set aside for hotel guests. We would have loved to eat there.

The bed, pillows, towels and amenities were all extremely comfortable, and the brand-new hotel feels like a real oasis for relaxing. Breakfast still had issues even though the hotel was nearly empty. The refreshing food wasn’t being replenished well, so I had to ask twice for fruit. There were two waiters, but they weren’t paying enough attention. There were also a lot of flies in the breakfast area, something a UV lamp or natural oils could help with. In the room, the TV is in a terrible spot. You can’t watch a movie and relax without bending your neck.

The Cala Bar was a highlight: everything we tried tasted fresh, looked beautiful, and had plenty of flavor. Breakfast was excellent too, with a good mix of healthy choices and treats. The overall setting at Finca Victoria is stunning, peaceful, and thoughtfully put together. Our room wasn’t ready at the scheduled time, but the team handled the wait gracefully and made us comfortable. Service was warm and attentive throughout, especially from the valet staff, who were always helpful and efficient. One strange thing was management using the “listening room” as office space. It’s a lovely quiet room for guests, so calls and casual meetings there felt disruptive. The hotel’s operations still seem new. Even so, we had a memorable stay and would absolutely come back. Finca Victoria has a special mix of charm, design, and hospitality.

The staff at Finca Victoria were some of the nicest people you could meet, and the service was excellent everywhere, from the front desk and rooms to the restaurant, breakfast, and cafe/bar. The restaurant is outstanding, and breakfast is very good, with staff willing to make just about anything you want. There are plenty of good restaurants and a market within walking distance. Try Trozo de Oso. The hotel’s “Our Musts” pamphlet has spot-on recommendations. The property feels like an oasis, right by Sa Riera beach and the Cami de Ronda. Rooms are clean and quiet, with comfortable beds and linens. A few small things could be better: more bathroom hooks, more light in the room, especially by the window seat and table where it gets very dark in the evening, and more information about spa and gym hours and hotel numbers. Our room was missing that information. Thanks, Finca Victoria, for making our stay so wonderful.
