Villa Sa Calma Beach Sa Riera

We left after two days, once Christmas was over. They responded right away to our request about the internet, but only came the next evening, when we weren’t home. They called once, then left. The house was spacious, with good furniture, an equipped kitchen, and a comfortable bed. When the heating worked, it was really warm. The beach was a three-minute walk away, but the bedroom and terrace looked onto neighboring houses, so it wasn’t the best view in the area. There was no WiFi or smart TV, and the downstairs toilet wouldn’t flush. On our second day, the heating stopped and there was no hot water from the tap. There was no soap or gel in the bathrooms. In winter, the restaurants and cafes along this stretch of the waterfront are closed, which should be mentioned in the listing. The nearest cafes are in Begur, 2 km from the coast. You need a car to get around the coast or buy groceries, or you’ll need a taxi. If you book somewhere away from the center, check which shops and cafes are open on holidays and in the off-season.
