The two women running the place were kind and very nice. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, though the salads looked good. My room was neat and clean, a little small, but had a good-sized bathroom and a lovely warm shower.

Our room was lovely, with two beds and a clean toilet. The staff were very nice, and there was a place to put our bikes. It was close to the center, and I think the 38 euro price for a double room was worth it.

Fatima @ Bastide Du Chemin is just the hero Sahagun needs. When I couldn’t get my bike onto the train, she agreed to store it for a small fee, then sold me the coldest beer in Spain. I’m incredibly grateful. You won’t find hostal owners like Fatima anywhere else in the world!

The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit small, and the shower was good. Staff were very friendly and spoke English. Breakfast was simple but nice, with good coffee, and WiFi was free.
