Clear instructions all the way from booking to departure, and discounted underground parking an easy walk from the accommodation. The apartment is right in the heart of Salamanca, close to the Cathedral, shops, bars, restaurants and all the city's sights.

Getting into the property took over an hour, standing outside in heat above 33 °C. They charged an extra cleaning fee even though I'd already paid it through Booking.com with the other charges and fees. The listing said nothing about extra payments for cleaning, access, reliable communication, or anything else. The company refused to honor its commitments. The bathroom had mould, the kitchen walls were dirty, and the staff were unfriendly and lazy. If that's what you're after, welcome to Apartamentos Celestina by gaiarooms. This was the worst experience of my life, and I'd avoid the service because it could ruin your holiday. The owners are lying about a booking through Expedia, I've never used that service. The photos were taken in the room I booked, and I have evidence.

Perfectly located in the town center. The room was very clean, smelled good, and came with all services included.

The mattresses were in truly deplorable condition, and we nearly chose the sofa over the beds. We were also told cleaning would happen every three days, but nobody came during our four-day stay. When we called to ask about it, that was the schedule they gave us, but it still never happened. We'd said we'd arrive at 3:00 PM and were traveling with a baby, yet we weren't allowed into the apartment until 4:00 PM. After a long trip, we had to wait outside for an hour. The location was good and the apartment wasn't bad overall, but with these issues I wouldn't recommend it. I don't think these are hard improvements to make so guests can leave satisfied.
