The location made everything easy, with the street outside leading straight to Plaza Mayor and plenty of good places to eat nearby. You can hear the convent bells each hour, which felt magical, but they weren’t bothersome with the windows shut. Breakfast had lots of good combinations, and Ment was very good too. The staff were wonderful, and I’d happily stay again if I’m back in Salamanca. We had the suite, which felt like a small apartment without a kitchen. It was spotless, with a huge bathroom, a powerful shower, and an en suite jacuzzi and private sauna. The sauna worked fine once it had time to heat up, and got very hot. From there you can step into the shower for a cold plunge. The bed and linens were clean and comfortable. Service was stellar throughout our three nights, from check-in to checkout. There was a roughly 20-minute water outage on the second floor, where the suite is, on our last night, but it was fixed quickly. We drove and used the valet parking. There was also room on the street out front to load and unload luggage.

Our first night on the Spain and Portugal trip was just right. The view from the entrance is lovely, and Salamanca’s sights are all within walking distance. The room was roomy, and the beds were really comfortable.

We tried the spa and found it incredibly relaxing. The staff were great, and there was always someone around who spoke English. The hotel itself is amazing and right in the middle of everything. I’d definitely recommend it.

This is a charming small hotel in a hard-to-beat spot. The staff are attentive, the rooms are comfortable and nicely equipped, and the restaurant downstairs is pretty good too. Highly recommended.

I always feel at home here and hate to leave. Since it’s a small place, there’s a real sense of closeness and trust among the guests. The people working here feel like warm, genuine hosts, not like staff at corporate hotels who are all about efficiency and staged hospitality. The restaurant puts real effort into good food and service. It’s near the action, but far enough away to stay quiet and peaceful.
