We only stayed one night, and the service was good. Parking at the hotel costs extra; we were on a motorbike, so that wasn’t a problem, though staff warned us about certain thefts in Spain. We checked the room on the other side, then headed straight out around Salamanca. After a long journey, it was frustrating to return and find the door we’d used already shut, so we had to walk around with our belongings. Since parking has an extra fee, an additional key for the parking area would make things easier for guests.

Breakfast was miserable and nowhere near international standards. The check-in system went badly, and the garage arrangements were a mess. We spent a fortune on international calls trying to sort everything out. A place to avoid if you’re a demanding guest.

The website said reception was open until 9 pm, but when I arrived at 7, nobody was there. Other guests who had already checked in were stuck outside too, waiting around 40 minutes because their entry code didn’t work. I gave up and went to the hotel around the corner. Please avoid this place.

My car broke down near Salamanca, which put me in a tough spot, but I ended up having an amazing stay. My car assistance arranged the booking, and Sr. José helped me so much, from suggesting great restaurants to advising me on what to do about the car. He was my hero. If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll gladly stay here again.

The room was perfect and the price was right, but the breakfast was shocking. We’d travelled up from the Algarve and found no staff on site. We had to phone an office in Barcelona to be let in, and the car park was closed, so we had to find somewhere else to park. We booked through Agoda, but the hotel’s check-in link sent through the site was blocked. Agoda and the hotel need to sort this out for the future.
