The room smelled of animal urine, didn't match the booking photos showing a split-level layout with a seating area, and we could clearly hear the TV from the adjoining room close to midnight. On top of that, the receptionist charged us extra despite the listing saying breakfast was free. I haven't been this disappointed with a place to stay in a long time. We booked specifically because parking was offered, but nobody told us there wasn't actually parking until we were already on our way. We eventually found somewhere for the car, then had to walk across the city with our luggage. I don't have the patience to write out how miserable this has been.

There’s a small, cozy terrace on the top floor, a nice spot to sit and get some sun. Breakfast was good as well. You have to book a time because the room is quite small, but that didn't bother us. If it isn't included, breakfast costs an extra €10, which I think is fair for what you get. The rooms are a bit small, but very clean. Everyone we dealt with was nice, especially the reception staff.

We were warmly welcomed to a spotless, spacious room, and breakfast was good. Plaza Mayor, the cathedral and the other attractions are all an easy short stroll away. Terrific location.

The views from our large room over the market square were lovely, and it was clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was very good too, though the coffee tasted weak and unpleasant to me, as I prefer it strong. The hotel is right in the heart of the old town, just a few minutes on foot from the sights. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we checked in. I'd definitely recommend staying here in Salamanca.

The location is good, but at night it's noisy, with drunk people fighting in the middle of the night. The customer service was very poor, and the receptionist seemed unwilling to help when something went wrong with our reservation. At 4 a.m., the fire alarm went off for a long time and woke everyone. Hotel staff knocked heavily on every door trying to find out who had smoked in a room. Our two children had to sleep on a terrible sofa bed. The room needs serious renovation, the bathroom smelled bad, and the pillows were uncomfortable. The cleaning lady's strongly scented mop left a horrible smell in the room. I definitely don't recommend this hotel.
