We loved Salamanca for its history, architecture, and the evening atmosphere in the Old Town, and would like to come back. The hotel’s location is part of Plaza Mayor, often described as Spain’s most beautiful city square. The views are spectacular, and the building glitters at night like fine jewelry. That central spot has a downside, though. The night was quiet, but early in the morning the cafes and restaurants setting up outdoor seating woke me. It sounded like a hundred horses galloping past. The front desk staff also seemed detached and less welcoming than staff at other hotels we visited. We’d return to the city, but probably wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

The staff were great, and the place was amazing. If you’re staying in Salamanca, I’d choose this spot and pay the small extra amount for a room overlooking Plaza. You won’t regret it.

We only spent one night at the Luxury Plaza and wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms were first rate, cozy, and comfortable, with friendly and efficient reception. It’s right on Salamanca’s main square, a perfect base for exploring this very walkable city. Facilities beyond the well-appointed rooms are limited.

WOW, a lovely clean room with amazing views of the square, and the staff were lovely too. The hotel is beautiful and right in the heart of Salamanca. Just excellent.

Right in the middle of Plaza Mayor, this was an amazing place to stay. The room was clean and new, with Ritual soaps and shampoo, which was fantastic. Staff were friendly, and it wasn’t too noisy. Recommended.
