There’s no parking at the hotel, which was the downside. The city was lovely, clean, and friendly, and the food was amazing. Honestly, those were the best tapas we’ve ever eaten. Well done, guys.

The building has a lot of history, and the workers were nice. I enjoyed the view from my window, but my first floor room had a sewage smell.

The only real positives for me were the location and the view from the room. The Wi-Fi was terrible, and reception did nothing when I reported that the internet was down and I couldn’t deliver my video conference. Service felt impersonal. The breakfast was basic and not worth adding to the stay, especially when downtown bars have better offers. The girl at the bar was exceptional and attentive, but the food was very basic for the elevated cost. The place also seemed old. The toiletries were very basic, and even with an offer, it felt like less than a two star hotel.

Good value and a handy location. My room looked out toward the cathedral and ruins, and the clean room had an old fashioned feel in a good way, with a very cozy mattress and no discomfort. The bathroom was a bit shabby and dirty, though not critically. I didn’t try the food because the staff seemed not to speak English, and the receptionist was rude when I asked whether they had gluten free options and what breakfast usually included. I wanted to see if I could pick something instead of searching for other options early in the morning. The man at reception was very helpful with a taxi at night, though. Human factor, I guess.
