La Posada de Rus

The house is beautifully decorated and really comfortable, and the homemade food uses local ingredients. We came with high expectations because of the reviews, but Posada de Rus was even better. Jesús and Lorena were wonderful hosts, and the valley views made this a stay we'll remember for a long time. We'll definitely come back.

Once you get past the awful road, the hotel is well worth the trip. The drive is narrow enough that two cars can't pass in places, and there are potholes everywhere. The hotel itself is secluded, with gorgeous mountain views and a pool, just right for switching off. The rooms feel luxurious, with remote-controlled toilets and incredibly comfy beds. Food is excellent and made with local produce.

The setting is hard to beat for a peaceful break in nature, with lovely views. The rooms have everything you need, and the bathrooms stand out, especially the showers and the latest-generation toilets. Rosa and Patri treated us wonderfully, and the food was delicious. Rosa's tortilla de patatas and Jesús's cordero a la estaca were especially memorable. We'd definitely return.

It's a lovely spot, and the owner is very friendly and attentive when guests need something. The rooms are new and come with lots of amenities. But the wooden floors mean you hear footsteps from upstairs quite loudly, which made it hard to sleep. The owner's way of interacting with guests is also a bit "unique" and could be better.
