Apartahotel Faure

It's a pleasant, clean, family-run hotel in a great spot, with good heating and what you need for a few days of skiing. The beds were a little uncomfortable, though not too bad.

The room had a really bad damp smell, and the shower head wouldn't stay aimed down, so it sprayed to the side. There were two chairs at first, but one had disappeared by the second day. We also left an open suitcase on an unused bed, then found it on the floor when we came back. That's why I rated it this way.

We only stayed two nights. The staff were friendly, and the location was good. The apartment was practical, with a double bed and two singles in the living and dining area, though there wasn't much kitchenware. The rooms all had outside views, and you could see the mountains from the dining area. Cleaning was adequate.

It's not a luxury hotel, but it does what it promises, and the price is very good for what you get. The people running it were friendly and keen to help. Our room had a kitchenette with all the utensils we needed, and breakfast was good. The juice was the one thing I'd change, since it clearly wasn't fresh. I'd recommend the place and would definitely come back.
