The staff were excellent, and breakfast was good. We had a wonderful stay in a junior suite with a balcony looking out over the sea. Magnificent.

The rooms were very average, and the food was limited, not local, and not very good. The view is nice if you like looking out to sea from 100 meters up a cliff. There's absolutely nothing within reach except by taxi, so only come here if you want to get away from it all. In my opinion, this is NOT a 3-star hotel.

The views from our balcony were spectacular, and the room was nicely furnished with comfortable beds. Most staff were friendly and helpful, though there were long waits at the bar because it needed more staff. The bar staff were doing their best. Breakfast was plentiful but a bit chaotic. There were events around the pool both days. Friday's disco was very loud, though it finished at a reasonable time. On Saturday there was a party with inflatables for children, and hotel guests couldn't use the pool for most of the afternoon while the kids were jumping around and being kids. The hotel is quite isolated, but if you enjoy walking, you can follow the coast to La Caleta and Salobreña, about an hour away. We enjoyed the weekend on the whole.

The daytime entertainment was much appreciated, and thinking of this hotel as a summer village makes a lot more sense. I'm adding one star. The concept is interesting and there's plenty of potential, but things are in pretty bad shape right now. The food was low quality, the furniture in the common areas old and dirty, and the atmosphere felt like it was decaying. It wasn't a good choice for our holiday. I feel that some renovation investment could improve the general service a lot.

We enjoyed our stay, and the food was plentiful, though nothing was labelled, which could make choosing difficult if you have an allergy. The hotel has lovely views from the bedrooms, a big pool, and plenty of outdoor seating. It’s in a quiet spot with nowhere to walk, though, and our June visit coincided with hundreds of children arriving. The pool was packed with kids jumping in and running around, and with no place to escape to, the noise was hard to get away from.
