Hotel Best Oasis Park

The worst part for us was how rude some Spanish, German, and French visitors were. People pushed ahead in meal queues, blocked the children’s entertainment, wouldn’t let wheelchair users through, and barged into elevators before others could get out. It felt very selfish, and it was a big letdown. Aside from that, we had a really good holiday and would definitely recommend the hotel and its pool facilities. The hotel was clean and tidy, as were the rooms. The service was good, and our room was cleaned and tidied every day. The food was really good most days, though a couple of days were not so great. It’s within walking distance of lots of shops. Unfortunately, a lot of people were lazy about using the bins.

The hotel is a short walk from the beach and on the same strip as all the shops, which is a good location. The rooms are basic, though. The food was terrible and stone cold at mealtimes. The lifeguards were nowhere to be seen when needed. My niece had two incidents: she fell and twisted her leg on the ladder in the children’s pool, and later struggled to swim. On both occasions no lifeguard was around. When we told reception, the woman didn’t seem to care. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The location is perfect, and the rooms were kept clean. They’re a little small, and there was an occasional bad smell when we were on the front balcony. The showers are amazing, and the bar staff were great. Jimmy was the highlight at the bar. The food wasn’t very tasty and was basically the same every night. That was the main downside. We were a group of eight, and most of us ate out at least once a day because we didn’t like it. The pigeons got annoying, though that wasn’t really a hotel issue. We didn’t bring our children, but the place looked ideal for kids.

The daytime pool snacks and drinks helped make up for the dinner experience. We could get simple things like ham toasties, burgers, hot dogs, and chips at the pool, or have them in the evening before going out. We travelled as a group of 12, friends and family. The hotel and rooms were clean and tidy, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable, even after we asked for a different mattress and pillow. On our first evening, around 7.30pm, we all went down for the buffet. Eight to ten of us used it that night, and it was the only time we went. The food quality and choice were both very poor, so the all-inclusive package felt like a big waste of money.
