Hotel Best San Diego

We found the pool area spacious despite the pool itself being fairly small, and there were always sunbeds or tables and chairs available. The bar never got crowded, partly because you could pour your own drinks. We had a lovely stay and would return, though probably not all-inclusive, as Salou has so many places to eat and drink. It was our first time there, and we spent a week all-inclusive. The location is great for both the main strip and the beach. Reception staff were welcoming from the start, and our room overlooking the pool was large, despite earlier reviews saying rooms were small. Thanks to Alicia on floor two for keeping it clean and refreshing the towels. I thought the all-inclusive food had plenty of choice and was varied, with something different every day.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Best San Diego, with a nice atmosphere and great service. The staff were polite and friendly, and Ivan was especially helpful. Food was delicious and varied, and both our room and the shared areas were clean. There was a bad smell in the corridors, and I’d have liked more mocktail options and a wider selection of snacks. Since we were all-inclusive, it was disappointing that we couldn’t take food back to our room. I’d rate it 8.5/10. Sim & Raj

The two men working at the bar were really friendly, and both the room and dining area were clean. But the pool area looked nothing like the photos. There were too many chairs by the bar and sunbeds were scattered around, leaving hardly anywhere to sit in the sun. We had an early flight and couldn’t sleep because a football team of teenagers staying at the hotel was shouting and screaming in the corridors. They were very loud and seemed out of control.

The location was the only decent part of our stay at Hotel Best San Diego. My friend and I arrived to a filthy room, with hair everywhere, sand across the floor, and no proper blankets. Room service barely existed. Staff often refused to clean, and when they did, the work was rushed and sloppy. The service was rude and unhelpful. Terrible experience. Save your money and avoid this hotel.
