The receptionist was very friendly and did her best, and I was grateful there was parking, better than none. But it wasn’t actually at the hotel. You have to walk up the street to it, and you can’t see your car. I’d expected parking on the hotel grounds, which would have felt more secure. The bathroom wasn’t clean. I found a little souvenir left by the previous guest in the toilet. The booking promised air conditioning, but the hotel had switched it off completely. The room was 26degrees and impossible to sleep in. They brought a fan and suggested opening the window, but it was far too loud and I couldn’t sleep at all.

The pool area was lovely, with a beach view, and it was easy to take a bus to nearby Salou and Tarragona. There’s a pleasant nature walk close to the beach, a delicious Indian restaurant nearby, plus a supermarket and the Holiday clothing store. Overall, we were happy with our stay. We were there in the middle of October 2025. The food was good except for the early breakfast we requested for an excursion. They gave us cookies and butter, which wasn’t good. Our room was okay, but the balcony had no insulation, so we could hear all the neighbors talking, including some loudly on their cellphones. The street often smelled bad from the trash containers and toilet pipes, and from all the people smoking around. Room cleaning could have been better: once I got stained sheets, and the shower wasn’t cleaned daily.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and the buffet was excellent with lots of variety. We stayed for a week in May and plan to return in Oct. 10 out of 10. A beautiful hotel in a cove, surrounded by hills covered in pine trees.

The first ground-floor room felt a little uncomfortable because there was a slight damp smell. We mentioned it to the hotel staff, and they changed our room immediately. The new one was simply wonderful. The staff were helpful, polite and genuinely caring. You can really feel that the hotel cares about its guests and their smiles. 🌸
