The food was mostly cold and very average. They even had a microwave there for warming it up. Dinner didn't start until 8pm, and there was always a long queue to get in. There was hardly any entertainment either. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, thanks to the cleaning staff, though the reception team left a lot to be desired. I raised my concerns with Tui, but got very little back. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The beds were good, the rooms were clean, and ours had a big balcony. We also enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The food was delicious, and for the price it was great value. I was really happy with my week here, especially the location. I'd happily come back and recommend the hotel.

We had a five-night stay in mid-September and would definitely return. The staff were friendly and helpful, and drinks at the hotel were reasonably priced. Food was fine, with plenty to choose from, and the desserts were lovely. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and its location near the shops, bars and beachfront was great. I saw some negative reviews, but I think they're unfair.

Salou was great for shopping, sandy beaches and a long beachfront walk in the evening, with some free entertainment along the way. It was very busy, though, so we had to get up early for a spot in the front row. Sunbeds and umbrellas were pricey, so bringing your own chairs and umbrella works out cheaper if you don't mind carrying them. At the hotel, the staff at reception, the bars and the restaurants were great. There were two bars and two pools, with decent food and drinks at reasonable prices. There was something on every day, like live music, pool games or bingo, and it seemed great for families. The beach was 8-10 minutes away. There were problems too. We paid for a larger superior room, but it was still small. I asked for the room to be cleaned, but it was never swept. The door card kept playing up and had to be reset almost every day. Air conditioning was locked to one temperature, and the pool sunbeds were locked overnight, then released in the morning on a first-come basis, so you had to get up early to get one. The nightclub next door played music until 5am, which wasn't good. The restaurant was too busy, with queues most of the time, and the food wasn't great. The menu was pretty much the same each day, and the plates and glasses looked as if they'd been in the dishwasher for just a minute before being brought back out. My main concern was the cleanliness of the crockery and cutlery, followed by the food quality. I'd give it four stars, but it felt more like three and a half. Honest rating: okay.
