H10 Delfín - Adults Only

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Cleaners came every day to freshen the rooms and leave clean towels. It’s within a good walking distance of the beach and other things. The food was okay, but some nights weren’t great. It was much the same throughout the week, with limited variety.

The food was good and there was a decent range, and the hotel is brilliantly located so close to the beach. We stayed at the h10 for a week at the end of August and start of September. There were bathroom issues in our room, but staff responded straight away and sent up a maintenance man. When he couldn’t fix it, they insisted on moving us to a room with a better bathroom. It was really lovely to feel that staff cared about the quality of our trip. Our only complaint was the temperature of all three pools. They were so cold they were unusable. Several people around the pools told us the same thing and said they couldn’t stand the cold and hadn’t used them.

It was my first time at the H10 Delfin, and I’m happy to give it a very big thumbs up. The hotel is spotlessly clean and a short walk from the beach, where you can hire a sun lounger or umbrella for 10 Euro each per day. There are two ground-level pools and a small rooftop pool, accessed from level 6. I bought a towel from a nearby shop for 5 Euros, though the hotel also rents towels for use on its sunbeds. The room was perfectly acceptable, with a small fridge and free safe. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had overhead and handheld shower heads. The shower door frame wasn’t wide enough, so water could spray onto the bathroom floor. If that’s the same in all rooms, be aware. Otherwise it was fine. There’s no kettle in the bedroom. A dental kit with a toothbrush, paste and comb was supplied. Housekeeping came daily and changed towels as requested. The friendly staff kept the rooms to a high standard. Breakfast and dinner were good buffet meals with plenty of choice and tables available. Water at evening meals costs extra. During the day, you can fill a water bottle near the pool, or buy bottled water at the bar or the supermarket across the road. The supermarket staff were friendly and helpful when I asked about English newspapers. All the hotel staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. You access the room with a wristband and can load money onto it, then tap to pay, so there’s no need to carry a card around the hotel. You can wear it in the pool, shower and sea with no issues. If you’re half board, you can get a light lunch at the outdoor pool bar or walk into Salou to a café like 'Faraggi', which does an amazing Banana split. The lifts are small and there are only two. One was out of order on a few occasions, so they got rather busy. As an adults-only hotel, it was generally quiet and relaxing, with no mad rush for sunbeds in the morning and plenty of plush seating inside near reception. This was September 2025. I travelled with Jet2, and credit to them for supplying the hotel at an excellent price and making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

The sea and beach were clean, and the water was warmer than the hotel pool, which was freezing 😆. The hotel itself was really clean, and the staff were lovely. Best shower I’ve ever had in a room. Breakfast and dinner were okay for a week’s stay.
