Seaborn by Pillow

I booked at the last minute. It's a cheap, dated hotel, but it does the job. The beds are OK and the place was clean. The shower turns cold after 10 minutes.

The room was nice and had a lovely balcony, even though the building exterior and common areas look awful. It's in a good area, but a bit uphill and far from the beach promenade, so getting to the bus stop with a suitcase was quite a trek. Our heavy suitcase was awkward to manage because, despite having a lift, you can't reach it without using stairs. The door lets in so much sound that we woke up to children running loudly along the corridor. The sink drain needs maintenance, and the Wi-Fi lagged badly, especially out on the balcony.

Breakfast was OK, and the staff, including the owner, were friendly. We paid 1.2k for 8 days of bed and breakfast for two adults and two kids. The room had a great view from level 5 at street level, with a bit of sea view too. The extra bed was a one-person sofa, which wasn't convenient for our kids. At first the room wasn't cleaned properly, and the floor was dirty. We raised it with the owner, who replied around midnight and brought us what we'd asked for, which was really good of him and more than we expected. The floor was cleaned the next day, then it was dirty again the day after. We don't usually wear shoes indoors, but had to here.

The room was clean and modern, with AC that worked well, and clean towels arrived every day. It's close to the beach, bus station, supermarket, and restaurants. Breakfast was the same buffet each day. The bed had wheels, which was a downside. The currency exchange cost me about 40 euro more.
