We stayed for 10 days and managed perfectly well. The view is beautiful, and from the small balcony on our ground-floor apartment we could get to the boulevard through a gate. The kitchen looks fairly new, the PVC floor is nice, and the place seems to have been painted recently. There’s air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a TV, plus a washing machine, new fridge with freezer, small dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. The air conditioning worked perfectly, though it’s noisy. The bedroom doors stick, and the bathroom door locks are old and don’t work properly. Balcony chairs aren’t comfortable either. You have to collect and return the keys in Cambrils, quite a way away. If you’re not too demanding, it’s a good place to stay.

At least the apartment faced the sea, but I won’t be coming back. We were given a key with the wrong door number and waited outside for an hour until a maintenance guy came to point out the right door. He said he’d already been there because the number was misspelled. Inside, we found lots of broken things, old furnishings, oily dishes, a dirty shower, and dust all over other things. The key wouldn’t open the beach entrance either, so we had to go around the back on a huge detour. The apartment and key arrangements were both awful.

The location is great, but the apartment is in dreadful shape. The air conditioning doesn’t work, the awnings can’t be operated, the sofa’s torn, and some chairs feel ready to break. The shower screen looks like it could fall, as do several pictures and wall lamps. The single beds have foam mattresses and noisy frames, and the doors are noisy too. This isn’t suitable for families.

Stay away. These apartments are filthy and awful, like something from a horror film.
