Host Víctor was fantastic, helping with local tips and logistics. The rooms were spotless and stylish, with good AC and tasteful antique touches. It's a quiet spot in Salt, and Girona centre is under 10 min away by car or a cheap taxi. A perfect base for Girona and Costa Brava.

We only stayed one night, but the price for the quality was so good and we felt at home. The owners trust you and leave food and drinks as little treats. We had to leave early and missed breakfast, though we could have some of the coffee and nuts left out. The small hotel blends modern architecture with antique furniture, and I think it's a family run business that takes care of its guests. Go and enjoy the calmness...in Catalan we say "caliu". Thanks.

The quiet, familiar atmosphere made it easy to relax, with ancient walls and ceilings said to be more than 200 years old and exquisite decoration. The charming rooms each have a different feel and their own bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is delicious, made with products from local suppliers. Pets and bicycles are welcome. Girona is 3 kms away, and you can walk there through the forest and fields, enjoying nature. It's more than a bed and breakfast, really like a hotel from the past, perhaps a Bentick Hotel from the British series "The Dukes of Duke Street". Perfect.

I only stayed 1 night, but it was a fabulous place and very accommodating for my dog. The old house has been recently renovated to a very high standard, and my room was super comfortable. There is on street parking nearby, and breakfast was excellent. Host Cinta was so welcoming and told me about the 3 km walk into Girona through the woods and farmland, which was perfect for exercising my dog.
