B&B Hotel Girona 3

The room was bright all night from the street light directly opposite room 103. Even the blackout curtains let light through at the side, and the bypassing cars were noisy because the windows were poor quality. Check-in had already taken nearly half an hour because the receptionist seemed to lack competence. Everything else was okay, but we didn't sleep well. Pay more and stay somewhere else!

The rooms were extra clean and breakfast was great. But over our 3 nights, there was just one receptionist trying her best and left desperately alone with so many rooms. It could take an hour to get checked in or get a towel. The rooms facing the route were noisy because the windows were useless.

From the window, we could see a meadow with storks. The hotel is new and has all the facilities, and booking, check-in and check-out were easy. It was easy to drive there, with lots of free parking near the entrance. There is a small refrigerator in the room, though it isn't very efficient, and there were no glasses in either the room or bathroom.

The staff were lovely, helpful and happy to see us, and there’s a free coffee station open 24 hours. Breakfast costs 11€ if booked ahead or 14€ on the day; I'm not sure it's worth it if you only have the continental option. The hotel is nice and very close to the AP7, though a taxi to Girona old town and the cathedral is about 15€. A large shopping mall nearby has several places to eat, including an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Pets are allowed for 20€, and they get a doggy welcome bag 😊. There are a couple of working electric car chargers nearby. The ones at their sister hotel B&B2 around the corner weren't working when I tried them.
