Alsol Nara

The patio only got a couple of hours of sun around midday, and apartment 106 felt very dated and had no light. The cleaners and gardeners were nice, but reception was hardly ever staffed, and messages through booking.com took at least 24 hours to get a reply. The walls were so thin we could hear clear conversations on both sides. It was okay overall, but overpriced for what you get. No washing machine for our three weeks, and I wouldn't book that apartment again.

Javier at front reception made the stay for us. He was so friendly and helpful, and couldn't do enough. The other staff we met were just as friendly. The rooms were a little dated, but the lovely pool area was warm enough to swim in comfortably, even though I think it was unheated. It's a brilliant, affordable place, a couple of hundred metres from the beach. I'd definitely recommend it and go back.

The pool and sunlounger area was a lovely spot to relax and cool off with a dip, and the staff were super friendly. We felt safe too, since the front gate to the complex only opened with a room card. Just got back from five days at alsol nara appartments and we're really happy with the stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and surprisingly peaceful for such a built up area. It's about a five minute walk to the beach, then a little farther to the bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

The staff were faultless and did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable. The living room felt cramped, mostly because a huge sideboard and wall cupboard took up half the space without adding anything. A wall bracket would suit the TV better. It was unreliable, and when it did work, Sky News International was the only English channel, which got tedious. The WiFi was flaky and slow, often wouldn't connect, and wouldn't let us cast video to the TV. The safe used a physical key, so you had to take it with you or waste the €2/day charge. Digital safes have been around for ages and feel expected in modern accommodation. Still, we enjoyed the stay, and these things could be fixed without much expense.
