Apartamento Pepe by Huella Canaria

The owner was extremely kind and always available. They left us a useful little guide to things to see and places to eat, which helped during our stay. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed, plus a private terrace that was lovely for sunny breakfasts and quiet evenings. We spent a week there and had a great time. It’s in a quiet, safe neighborhood, just minutes from the famous Maspalomas dunes and close to the main attractions. The complex pools were pleasant, well kept, and never crowded. The on-site bar was handy for a quick snack or drink without leaving. We’d definitely recommend it for couples or families.

The owner Pietro deserves more than five stars. Communication was very good, and he was honest and correct. We felt at home and safe straight away. We liked the pool bar too, with reasonably priced drinks and snacks. The garden and pools were well looked after, and the pools were wonderful, with two heated. I stayed here in October 2024 with my daughter, in a two-bedroom apartment. Everything was in tip-top order, and the location was ideal in Gran Canaria, close to everything. The beach, restaurants, shops, and public transport are not far away. The staff were friendly. We highly recommend it, and we’ve already booked our next holiday. 😍

The apartment was spacious enough and well equipped, and we enjoyed relaxing by the pools, including the heated one. It’s centrally located, not far from the sea, restaurants, and shops. We’d love to return, if we can find dates that are available.

Pietro was honest, helpful, and very positive. He explains everything, shows you around, and answers every message. We had a clean, fairly quiet two-bedroom apartment with a living room, kitchenette, bathroom with toilet, and balcony. The beds were very comfortable for us, and everything listed in the ad was there. You can cook your own meals or eat at the pool bar and restaurant. There’s no vacuum cleaner, and a lady brings fresh towels and linens once a week. The fenced complex has several gates and one main entrance, plus three pools, two heated, including the smallest pool for children. The bar and restaurant open at 11:00. For €10, you can get a lot to eat, with some dishes enough for three people. The food is tasty, with a wide choice of dishes, drinks, and other alcoholic beverages. There’s plenty of poolside space and sunbeds, as well as free parking. Just beyond the fence are bus stops for places including Palmitos Park, Puerto de Mogán, Las Palmas, and the airport. Shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, and car and bike rentals are all nearby, and the beach is about 200-300 meters away. A great low-priced base close to everything. I highly recommend it.
